Engineering the Recovery of Our Atmosphere.
We recover, recycle, and destroy climate-damaging F-gases trapped in end-of-life insulation foams.
A Hidden Threat
Insulation foams contain fluorinated gases (F-gases) with a global warming potential up to 6,230x that of CO2. These same gases erode the ozone layer, contributing to more than 60,000 skin-cancer deaths every year.

A Hidden Threat
Ætheria addresses an overlooked climate threat: F-gases trapped in insulation foams
Insulation foam contains fluorinated gases, better known as ‘F-gases’.
These F-gases trap heat 6230 times more effectively than CO2. Making it one of the most worrisome greenhouse gases of all time.
On top of that, these F-gases are notorious ozone-depleting gases. Increasing the hole in the ozone layer drastically.
Ætheria has won the 2026 Road to Start Summit Maastricht and will be competing in the 2026 Start Summit in St. Gallen, Switzerland
